What kind of features are offered for the 2020 model year?
There are six great Ram 2500 trim levels to choose from. The base model, known as the Tradesman, comes packed with features like Bluetooth connectivity, 17-inch steel wheels, a locking tailgate, vinyl upholstery, air conditioning, a six-speaker sound system, a USB port, 5-inch touchscreen, and a tilting steering wheel. The upper trim levels are outfitted with even more features like heated front seats, a 10-speaker sound system, automatic high beams, the RamBox cargo management system, smartphone integration, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, power-deployable running boards, and more! The Power Wagon trim level is equipped with tons of off-roading geared features like tow hooks, all-terrain tires, skid plates, a manual transfer case, and more!
Can you tell me about the powertrain options?
There are a few powertrain options available for the Ram 2500. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter V8 that produces 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque which comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The second transmission option is a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel 6-cylinder engine that creates 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain configuration but four-wheel drive is available for every trim level except the Power Wagon where it comes standard. For the big jobs, the 2500 can tow up to 19,680 pounds and haul payloads up to 4,010 pounds!

The Ram 2500 comes outfitted with a host of advanced safety features so drivers can focus on the job at hand and not worry about their safety. Some of the most notable safety features offered include Bling Spot Monitoring with dual wide-band radar sensors in the taillamps which scan the truck’s blind spots and even automatically sens and account for the length of any trailer attached. Other features offered include LaneSense lane departure warning with lane keep assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop — this feature maintains the driver-selected distance from vehicles in the lane ahead, automatically slowing down when slower traffic is detected, Forward Collision Warning, and an Adaptive Forward Lighting System.
